When recreational cannabis first became legal in 2012 in Colorado and Washington, it was considered to be a product in a category of its own. Ten years later, the President of the United States has said that the current scheduling of marijuana makes “no sense” and the federal government is re-evaluating their official position – and approach – when it comes to cannabis for the first time since the 1930s.
